This Plush Gingerbread Cottage is truly a one of a kind creation!
It is contructed from a double layer of felt, with interfacing and wadding to help to keep the shape. I decided not to use cardboard in the base or walls as I wanted it to be washable, so it's quite squidgy and plump.
The snow covered roof has an embroidered criss-cross pattern and is embellished with lots of colourful buttons.
The house has appliqued windows and doors, with a little heart shaped button on each door and pink and yellow beads on the windows.
The dimensions of the house are 4.5" high, 3.5" long and just over 2" wide. It's plumply stuffed with Polyfill and can be gently hand washed and left to dry naturally.
This is the sort of decoration you can bring out year after year to add a little colour to your festivities!
